Polk City opened a brand new library located at 1500 W. Broadway in 2005. The accredited facility provides many services to our community such as:
- Wireless public internet access
- Children’s story times
- Adult and teen book clubs
- Interlibrary loan
- Copy machine — photocopies 20¢/page
- Fax service — $1/page to send or receive
- Public meeting room (available for rent)
In addition to an extensive book collection, the library also checks out:
- Magazines
- Books on tape and CD
- Video’s and DVD’s
- Music CD’s
- Cake pans
- Rubber stamps
Library Hours (book drop is accessible year-round, 24-7):
- Monday-Thursday 10 am-8 pm
- Friday 10 am-6 pm
- Saturday 10 am-4 pm
